How can i make more female FRIENDS while being in the marines?

i get along more with girls, no i'm not gay, and i like having more female friends. how can i make more female friends while being in the marines? what kind of activities should i partake in to make more friends? how can i approach women and let them know that i only have the intention of being friends. let me make it clear that i'm not looking for friends with benefits or girlfriends or calls, i'm just looking for friends. someone to hang out with and have fun with as a friend. thanks.
