What should I do? Buy a foal or find a stallion and pay a stud fee?

I really want a foal (preferably a colt, but I would love a filly just as much) the reason I want a to find a stud farm is because I have a very impressive mare, so if I went out and found a Hanoverian stallion who is beautiful, talented and has top bloodlines I could have an amazing horse! The good thing about buying an already born foal is that is that I could by a colt and wouldn't need to wait 11 months during the pregnancy! I talked to the vet she is ready and capable of having a healthy little colt! Don't worry I do not have my heart set on a colt my heart would jump for joy! So I don't know what to do they all seem like amazing ideas! I think my mare would adore having a little foal as well as me! What do you think? There are both great ideas! I have an amazing trainer, vet, and stable manager ready to help me out with any problems I have or questions I need answering to! But also any articles, books, videos, tips would be appreciated! So stud fee or but a foal?
