Pool Pump has lost 50% of power?

My pool pump has lost about 40-50% of its power. There are no leaks and it is not making any unusual sounds. The circuit breaker is not tripped at all and resets tight. There is no above ground leakage and all drains are clear. Any ideas? Could it be the box? Can a pool pump lose power? It is a 220V line.
