Adults are not usually referred to as "colicky" as are babies. Colic simply refers to abdominal pain. In an adult it is usually ociated with the location of origin, such as renal colic, which is the pain ociated with ping of a stone through a ureter that was formed in the kidney. Intestinal colic is abdominal pain originating in the intestine, for any reason such as spasms, obstructions, or gas.
