Why does my '96 Dodge Avenger die all the time?

the ignition switch may be going bad in it, i did own a 97 model and it did that until i replaced the ignition switch in it,that or the throttle position sensor is bad in it,have someone scan the computer on it ,you may get a trouble code for what its doing,you won't get a code though if its the ignition switch going bad,it may show no codes for it,that's the way an ignition switch is they only act up at certain times,so you may be right on it being electrical,good luck on finding it.
